Machining

Machining – precision and technology at Ekopil is a comprehensive implementation of turning, milling, grinding, and electrical discharge machining (EDM) processes, conducted based on a modern machinery park and an experienced technological team. We produce both prototype and individual components as well as repeatable series production, ensuring high dimensional accuracy, process stability, and the capability to manufacture elements with complex geometries and large dimensions.

The scope of services includes CNC turning on CTX and DOOSAN lathes for components with diameters up to Ø 370 mm and lengths up to 1000 mm, as well as CNC milling on modern 3-, 4-, and 5-axis centers, including the DMF-360 Deckel Maho with a range of 3600 × 920 × 850 mm. The machinery park is complemented by DMG MORI, DOOSAN, Wagner, and MAHO centers, enabling machining with a rotary table and in full five axes.

For prototypes, repairs, and single-unit production, we offer conventional machining, including turning up to Ø 305 mm, milling on tables up to 1000 mm, and grinding of surfaces, shafts, and tools. We also perform large-scale machining on the Neway PM2560HA CNC gantry milling machine (6000 × 2500 × 1000 mm, 5-axis) and BULMAK lathes allowing for the turning of elements up to 6000 × Ø 900 mm, with a gap-bed turning option up to Ø 1100 mm.

Processes are supplemented by electrical discharge machining (EDM) on a SODICK AQ327L machine with a range of 600 × 400 mm, allowing for precise machining of components with high tolerance requirements. Our services are dedicated to the machinery, energy, and industrial sectors, as well as R&D departments, ensuring full integration of machining with design, welding, and quality control performed at Ekopil.
