Rake Scraper
The rake scraper is designed for scraping and removing deposits from the bottom of rectangular tanks as well as for collecting floating matter. It is possible to manufacture the scraper for removal of floating matter only or for bottom sludge only. The operation of the device is cyclical. The bottom sludge pumping discharge system consists of pumps, pipelines, and lifting devices. The sludge is discharged through pipelines into an open trough located along the clarifier. Pumps are selected based on parameters specified by the process designer for the given facility.
